He worked as Crisis manager for multinational companies, dealing with multiple interests and fields of law, including labor law and administrative law. He is counselor for Integrity Performance. Michael Doctor of Laws, Criminologist & Certified Court mediator obtained his Law degree in Amsterdam in 1991. In 1992 he became Master in Criminology. Michael received his Doctorate in Law in 1998. He worked as assistant professor in Criminal Law in Amsterdam. He was treasurer for a Forensic Society for many years. As a scholar he visited the Law School Berkeley, University of California. Among the master exams he passed `Islamic Law’ & `anti-Harassment Law’ at Boalt Hall Berkeley Law School. He has insights of Roman Christian and Islamic Law as well as in Buddhist principles. He is advisor of the “Dutch Society of Anti-discrimination art.1″ He meets locals in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Lao. Michael gives workshops at international conferences. He is mastermind of MediationAdvice & author of several Dispute Resolution handbooks Mediation as Alternative (2001); Communication in workplace safety (2003) & Mediation for Referral (2005) and Human Resource Management juridical checklists and publications.
Michael’s hobbies: Traveling, Diving, Sailing, Jiu Jitsu, Photography, Mediation & Meditation & Mindfulness & Relaxed Jazz.
